How to get a good night sleep.

It's the 21st Century and many people live better than ever. We have running water, electricity on demand and enough food to fill our stomachs everyday. However, one problem many people have is the fact that most people in todays age are stressed. They have hectic lives and work more hours than ever. This brings with it anxiety and many of these people report problems sleeping. This causes a infinite loop where lack of sleep causes more stress and more stress causes more sleep problems.
Sleep is very important purely because it allows our body to recover and recuperate from the day before. Sleep is very beneficial to our health.
There are a few things you can do to help get to sleep at night:
Turn off your laptop - it may be tempting to go onto Facebook just before bed but it stimulates th emind and prevents you sleeping. Leave at least an hour free of gadgets and laptops before bedtime.
Do not drink coffee after 6pm. In Europe they tend not to drink coffee late on do to this reason.
If you wake up in the middle of the night with cold feet wear a pair of socks. Sounds daft - works a treat.
Take a hot bath before bed. The body's temperature drops naturally at night gradually peaking at about 4am. By having a hot bath you keep your body warmer for longer. A hot bath also helps you relax.
Having a routine before you go to bed is the best way to sleep. The better sleep you get the better you will feel in the morning. The better you will feel in full!
