Miss Madigan, 22, is earning a recession busting £1,000 to sleep in designer beds every day (or would it be night) for a month! The student is undertaking a survey by luxury bed specialists Simon Horn Ltd.
General manager Craig Roylance said "We wanted to find somebody that for a month could sleep on our beds and somebody who was articulate and interested in writing about it."
The winning applicant proved to be Roisin Madigan, who studied Writing for Media Arts for two years at the South Bank University in London but moved back to Birmingham.
The company advertised the job and had received a whopping 400 applicants in the first day alone and another 200 the day after. To be honest, everyone at Tranquility Beds would have loved the chance to be paid to sleep on luxury divan beds.
